Disabling Registered and Hosted Domains Tabs in the Customer CP

By default your Cloud Store account includes the ability for your customers to purchase and manage domain names through the Customer Control Panel (CCP).

If this is something that you want to disable the following steps will walk you through the process.

1.       Log into your control panel. DO NOT SWITCH TO BILLING SIDE. This is something that is managed from the Operations side of your control panel.

2.       Next click on the "Settings" link under the "System" section.

3.       Then click on the "Customer CP Navigation" link under the Control Panels section.

4.       Use the search tool to locate the tabs you want to disable in the CCP. Enter "Domains" into the "Name" field and press the search button.

5.       Select all of the results and press the "Disable" button.

6.       The "Active" status for these items will change to "No". Now if you or one of your customers go into their Customer Control Panel (CCP) the domains tabs will not be visible.

Disabling Register New Domain from Store Section of Customer CP

If you do not want your Cloud Store customers purchasing domain names from their Customer Control Panel (CCP) you will need to remove this option from the “Store” section.

The following steps will guide you through the process of disabling this option.

1.       Log into your control panel. DO NOT SWITCH OVER TO THE BILLING SIDE. This is something that is managed from the “Operations” side of your control panel.

2.       Next click on the “Settings” link under the “System” section.

3.       Then click on the “Customer CP Navigation” link under the “Control Panels” section.
